“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” – Matthew 5:9

For those of you who are saying or insinuating President Trump is the Antichrist, this is not likely true and in fact is counter productive. Why?

Antichrist is not for sovereign borders or nations but will rise to rule the world in a globalist system. You would be hard pressed to find a more anti-globalist president than President Trump and his America First MAGA movement. Ask the gathering of purveyors of globalism at Davos if they think Trump is a globalist. Trump refuted in detail there evil agenda.

“But Trump didn’t put his hand on the Bible when he was sworn in.” Yes, this was unfortunate. But it was more Justice Robert’s faux pas than anything intentional by Trump whose inauguration and candidacy have been filled with positive Christian influences. Did you listen to the prayers? Did you hear the worship? Not putting his hand on the Bible was an unfortunate mishap. But President Trump has repeatedly expressed a favorable attitude towards Christianity. He is a STAUNCH SUPPORTER OF ISRAEL. He is THE ONLY PRESIDENT TO STAND IN SUPPORT OF LIFE in the annual Pro Life march in Washington. He has demonstrated ceaseless compassion for those devastated by natural disasters (Matthew 25:31-46). He is a protector and proponent of conservative values. I’m not saying he’s a bonafide born again Christian, (I pray he is or will be), but let’s not read into a mistake more than is there.

If a Christian or Antichrist is known by their fruit or lack thereof, then President Trump has a full cargo ship of fruit in the form of appointing Christian nominees, fighting government swamp evil, and righting wrongs perpetrated by the previous administration that weaponized government agencies, etc. He is not only not having anything to do with evil but is exposing evil (Eph.5:11). He is generous to a fault by donating his salary to charities (Acts 20:35). By doing this He honors God (Proverbs 14:21). When was the last time YOU, or any of us gave even a week’s salary to charity? Am I wrong to say NEVER?

President Trump said he wants his legacy to be one of a peacemaker. Interestingly, Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). Do you think President Trump accidentally characterized his legacy the way he did? Trump has been known for sending thinly veiled messages and nothing he does is accidental. There is reason for us to hope for his eternal life.

President Trump is not perfect. His MAGA movement is a political movement that welcomes some groups I wouldn’t. But veiling Never Trumper or Trump Derangement Syndrome sentiments by trying to label him Antichrist or evil is counterproductive to the patriotic good he is trying to accomplish as well as being a pawn of his opposition who actually are globalist establishment players being used by the forces of evil.

We have before us a great opportunity and air of possible receptivity to a true revival that could have eternal worth for our nation, its citizens, and even the world. Stop being so easily tossed too and fro with every fowl wind and start using the favorable political climate to be salt and light and ambassadors of God (Matthew 5:13-16; 2 Corinthians 5:20).

I do not endorse everything my country does. I am not deluded or star struck by the MAGA movement. Our country, like all countries, is not perfect. This movement, like all movements, has its shortcomings. But I do believe our country is the best country and I am on board with most of what the MAGA movement is doing. I also think we are living in an atmosphere that is very conducive to forwarding the Great Commission. I do believe the Holy Spirit is working. I do believe the Holy Spirit is restraining evil in answer to our prayers (2 Thessalonians 2:6-7). For that I am thankful and looking for ways I can contribute to the cause. You should do the same.

As we have been sovereignly birthed by God for such a time as this (Esther 4:14), let us use what time we have left before the Lord’s return, to serve the Lord in every station of life and do as much good as we can. Let us remember the provisions, exhortations, and warnings found in God’s word where it states:

Ephesians 4:11-16 (NKJV) – 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 THAT WE SHOULD NO LONGER BE CHILDREN, TOSSED TO AND FRO AND CARRIED ABOUT WITH EVERY WIND OF DOCTRINE, BY THE TRICKERY OF MEN, IN CUNNING CRAFTINESS OF DECEITFUL PLOTTING, 15 BUT, SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE, MAY GROW UP IN ALL THINGS INTO HIM WHO IS HEAD – CHRIST – 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. (Emphasis mine).

This pertains first to the Church, but it also applies to our involvement in life and its machinery generally. The end times is a time of deception (1 Timothy 4:1-2). The world is under the influence of the Devil (1 John 5:19). The Devil is the father of lies (John 8:44). Don’t be deceived. Don’t buy the lies, say bye to them. Support that which is good. Above all, share the gospel and be God’s ambassadors. BE A PEACEMAKER. God bless and guide us all.

Matthew 5:9 (NKJV) -Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.

2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (NKJV) -20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
