Prayer
Requests and Praise Reports
Be anxious for
nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6,7

"If my people,
who are called by my name, will humble themselves & pray and seek my
face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven &

PRAISE: It's 9:45 pm
Tuesday evening and Eithne just called me to tell me her biopsy
report came back benign...no cancer cells! God has answered our
prayers for my friend and His servant Eithne. Thank you all for
bringing her to God and asking for a healing. She believes (and I
think we can all agree) that this is a miracle. The surgeon told her
today that this type of growth is 98% malignant!
Urgent prayer
needed for my dear friend Eithne. She had tests done today that
revealed a possible need for major surgery. She is awaiting biopsy
results within the next 48 hours. Please pray for spiritual,
emotional, physical and financial needs. Though her faith is very
strong, her needs are great at this time. Thank you. |

PRAISE:
The surgeon feels that things went well. Bleu is home and
recovering without a lot of fatigue. Please pray for his
continued healing and that his breathing will be greatly improved
for having the surgery.
Bleu had surgery August 30th. Please keep him in your prayers
as he will be in the hospital tonight, then recovering at home for
several weeks. |

Please pray for
the a church member, Marie, and her family, Her daughter Cathy, is
in the hospital dying from bone cancer which has now spread to her
liver. Cathy has two daughters- one 12, and the other I think is
teen-aged. I have not visited at Marie's request. Cathy doesn't want
visitors, and is susceptible to infection. Marie is spending all
day- 12 hours at the hospital. Pray for strength and that if the
Lord wants to take Cathy home, that she will not linger. Also pray
for comfort for her daughters and husband. Thanks. |

My orthopedic
doctor today thinks it is time to begin considering replacing the
opposite hip from the one almost three years ago as it is bone on
bone. Would like prayer as I also pray about this and when or
whether to do it with the further deterioration of my breathing this
summer. Your prayers are much appreciated. |

UPDATE: You may
have prayed too hard... there's not been a single person here today
(Saturday).
*big smiles*
Please pray as we
are running a 3-week garage sale, 5 days a week from 9 am - 7 pm.
I had a ton of help setting up the stuff in storage and the garage,
(Thanks to a visit from GlorytoGod), but there is a ton of stuff
from inside of the house to get out yet. I am exhausted from
just the first few days - please pray for strength to get this job
done! |

Please keep my
grandfather, Lee, in your thoughts and prayers. He had a test last
week sometime that showed a spot on his kidney and he was having
some "internal issues." He went Monday for a Sonogram of his kidney
and that came back normal. September 7th they are doing another
test to check something else. Also, my step dad, Jamie, had a CT
this morning to determine why he has some knots in his stomach, so
praying that there is nothing serious in either one. Thank you! |

UPDATE: My
daughter-in-law is doing fine, she did not fall on her stomach as I
had thought, but on her hands and knees. But pray for me as I got a
cold virus and if she has her baby soon I won't be able to visit.
Please pray for
my 36 week pregnant daughter-in-law who had a bad fall in her living
room this evening. She is at the hospital and they are checking her
out. Pray that she and the baby will be ok. Thankful that she did
not hit her head, but she fell forward on her stomach. Thank you. |

the family. My cousin, Alice, went to her local ER Sunday night with
extreme stomach pain. She will be undergoing surgery tomorrow for

PRAISE: I am so
thankful that the Lord allowed GlorytoGod to come and help get my
garage sale set up. What a lot of stuff. It was so much
easier with someone else pricing and I was able to let a LOT of
stuff go that I doubt I would have on my own. Prayers for her safety
as she travels home. On the home
front, the problems are still severe and we still need your prayers.
Thank you for praying "God's will be done"! I am
struggling with a lot of depression and hopelessness, but need
prayers to have the courage to PRAISE the LORD in the midst of this
storm. |

I am coming to
you today to ask if you would keep me in your prayers! I have been
really ill so far in the year of 2010, and last week I found out I
might have cancer. I am still recovering some from the brain surgery
I had last year! My prayer request is that God's will be done! If I
am going through this to help save a soul for Christ, lead the lost
to him, to help someone find healing in Jesus, or whatever it might
be - if the Lord is using me, then I know this trial is worth it! So
please pray "God's will be done in my life" For I know when he is
finished O will be healed!! I will find out Tuesday if I have
cancer or not! God Bless you all. Thanks |

UPDATE:
Unfortunately Roy
had to have his leg amputated at mid-calf this past Thursday. He is
at the VA hospital in Fayetteville, and unfortunately because of
limited finances and his wife's (Remese) ongoing back trouble she
was unable to be there. Their finances are so bad that she is here
in Springfield, MO selling their antique furniture but not having
much luck. Please pray for their finances, peace, comfort,
understanding and acceptance through this loss. Thank you very much.
Dear brother's
and sister's. Thank you for your continuing prayers for me. I have
an urgent Prayer request. Please Pray for Roy and Remese - a
wonderful couple. Roy has had diabetes for years. He has had to have
2 toes removed and this week they are contemplating removing his
foot. They are very devastated. Please Ppay for a miraculous healing
for Roy and for peace, love and comfort through the Holy Spirit. GBU

UPDATE: Our
Book Study on "The Steps to Freedom in Christ" by Neil T. Anderson
began on Monday, August 9th, 9 pm EST and will run about 8 weeks.
If you wish to 'catch up' or 'join us' just for the conversational
portion - you are welcome to do so.
Also consider reading three of his books: "Victory over the
Darkness" "The Bondage Breaker" and "Who I am in Christ" as these
will compliment the short study book that we will be doing. |

Ongoing Need: We
are 'kept online as a result of donations from all of you who use
the room and make contributions when you are able.
Is God calling you to be a regular financial donor to this site?
Could you commit to making a monthly donation of whatever amount the
Lord leads you to make?
If you would like to make a monthly (or one-time) contribution,
contact
Shep or
visit the donation tab above!
As we continue to
grow, we also need greeters. There is a volunteer tab above
and you can download a sheet to share your interest as greeter, a
prayer warrior, or something else on the sheet. Pray, as we
will surely also do, that God leads the people HE wants to fill
these positions to help alleviate the responsibility from falling on
just a small few. If you cannot volunteer, remember, EVERYONE
can pray!
